ZERO Smart Points Dessert!


At our Weight Watchers meeting in Schaumburg last week, a member shared her baked apple recipe with us and it was SO delicious I thought I’d pass it along to everyone!

Very simple and besides tasting great and being ZERO Smart Points, it will also make your kitchen smell heavenly! 

Ingredients 

4 apples, peeled and cut into pieces (I prefer Granny Smith apples, but any variety will work)

1 can of diet soda (I used diet sprite but diet black cherry was recommended)

A sprinkle of cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees

Spray a baking dish with butter flavored non stick cooking spray. 

Place apples in baking dish. 

Pour the entire can of soda over the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. 

Bake for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender.

The absolute best part of Weight Watchers is the sharing of ideas and support we get from each other at the meetings. It really makes a difference in the choices we make throughout the week when we are able to attend a meeting and partake in the positive energy. Spending time on ourselves extremely important so don’t skimp on it!
