Tasty Tuesday-This One’s A Keeper!

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE FLUFF

Because plain yogurt just isn’t “dessert enough” by it’s self!

Oh do I love this one!!  It’s really been helping me stay on track, so I had to share!

I’m a sweet tooth. Always have been and at this point, looks like I always will be!  This makes cutting back on added sugar a challenge.  Many of my old favorite sweet foods, even when reduced calorie, are still loaded with sugar and I can see (and feel) how they tend to make me crave more and more.  Oh, and then even a little more. Haha:-)

I came up with this dessert concoction after lots of experimenting and because it fits all my criteria….

  1. Super delicious!
  2. Relatively low in added sugar.
  3. Has nutritional value and a good ratio of protein.
  4. Very satisfying. Doesn’t leaving me wanting more, more, more!

….it’s become my go-to after dinner/night time snack.

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE FLUFF

4 SmartPoints

INGREDIENTS

(All pictured in two photos above)

  • 1 Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt-Strawberry cheesecake flavor works best, but I also like coconut & blueberry. This is the lowest SmartPoints Greek yogurt I can find. 2 SPs
  • 2 teaspoons cheesecake flavored instant, sugar free Jello pudding mix. 1 Smartpoint.
  • 1/4 C Fatfree Whipped Topping. Up to 5T = only 1 SmartPoint!

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix thoroughly and ENJOY!!

Give it a try and post a comment about what you think!!

I’ll be leading my WW meeting today, Tuesday, at 10am in Schaumburg as well as my new 530pm meeting in Geneva on Thursday.  Love my new schedule!  So happy to have found a way to fit in leading 2 WW meetings along with my full time job at Stone Tower Properties!  Hope to see you soon!

All is well❤️

I doubled the recipe, put fresh strawberries on top and placed in the freezer to make it a little more like cheesecake! It’s so pretty! Wish I could post a pic… I’ll put it in my fb page. Thanks for the recipe – now to only eat a “portion” of it!!

That’s a great idea! I don’t know the ratio of pudding mix to yogurt for a bigger batch, so use sparingly and go by taste. I’ve added too much cheesecake pudding powder before and it had that artificial taste, so just be careful of that. Let me know how it goes! Fresh strawberries would be good in it too!

This looks delicious, I’m going to try to make it in a large batch and bring it in on work food day. I’ve been looking for something lower in fat and healthier ! Maybe set a box of graham crackers by it like a dip? Thank you for the share !!
