Desperation Isn’t All Bad

Being desperate isn’t a good feeling and most of us don’t like it, but it’s not all bad because it brings change.

Anyone who’s struggled with weight, knows desperation. Seeing a number on the scale that you never wanted to see can make us desperate. Putting on your clothes and realizing they no longer fit the way they used to can make us desperate. Waking up after a night of overeating…again desperation for change for something different to happen. A different ending to the same old story.

When you experience feelings of panic or desperation in regard to your weight, let’s use them for positive change. It’s only when we are SO uncomfortable with the current situation that we really commit to changing it.
