Weight loss is a funny thing. It’s very hard to predict when it’s actually going to happen…when the scale is going to reflect all of our good behaviors, but rest assured, IT WILL HAPPEN if you just stick with it. Don’t let frustration or impatience stop you from living your healthy lifestyle. If we can learn to enjoy the journey and the benefits the healthy habits give us each day (more energy, better focus, improved mood, less bloating, better quality of sleep, a sense of accomplishment, ETC, ETC, ETC), when we least expect it, a weight loss WILL show up. This isn’t a race with a beginning and an end, but rather a life long journey that is meant to be experienced with joy and savored.
So let’s get to it! Take note of all the good you are experiencing in you life RIGHT NOW and allow yourself to feel good about the direction you are heading. So often we forget the beauty and good that surrounds us because we are too busy looking for something in the future that we perceive as “better”. All we have it today and it’s MORE than enough.
